YouGov recently asked Republicans and Democrats a very serious question: Could you physically beat up Donald Trump? They also asked them if they thought an 8-year-old boy could take him on.

Sooo, with all of that in mind, the results to the “can you beat Trump in a fight” poll are somewhat surprising:

The data speaks for itself, and it’s pretttty embarrassing. More Republicans say Trump could beat them in a fight, 39% to 33%, while Democrats are basically like no way, with 75% saying they’d win and just 5% giving Trump the victory.

In terms of the fight with an 8-year-old boy, 72% of Republicans said Donald Trump would win that one. On the other side, 54% of Democrats said the 8-year-old boy would win.

According to the poll, Democratic women are over 20 points more likely to say they can beat Trump up compared to Republican men.

Galifianakis Criticizes Comedians for Abandoning Their Role as “Court Jesters”

The Hangover star Zach Galifianakis is voicing sharp criticism toward fellow comedians who have hosted President Donald Trump on their podcasts. He argues these creators are failing to push back against claims or fulfill their traditional roles as modern-day court jesters. While reflecting on his own career, Galifianakis recalled the importance of holding those in power accountable.

The actor shared his perspective during Monday’s episode of Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend. During the discussion, O’Brien pointed out that few have spoken to a sitting president with the same irreverence Galifianakis displayed when he interviewed then-President Barack Obama in 2014 on his hit satirical show, Between Two Ferns.

“Well, all the podcasters that have had the president on now, they don’t do their court jester,” Galifianakis remarked. “They don’t do it. They just, they suck up to him. So, the ‘comedians’ that are podcasters that have had Trump on, they’re not doing their job.” He emphasized: “That’s not the job of a comedian. Galifianakis, who became a household name after the 2010 release of The Hangover, built his foundation as a sharp-witted stand-up comic and the deadpan host of Between Two Ferns. “And whatever their motive is, fine,” he explained to O’Brien. “But the comedy has to come first.”

“I remember when I interviewed [former Secretary of State] Hillary Clinton — and I could tell she didn’t want to be there, and I totally get that — but before we had set that whole thing up, they wrote back, ‘Well, you can’t bring up those emails,’” Galifianakis shared. “And I go, ‘Well, we don’t have to do the interview. That’s fine, we won’t do it.’ When you tell powerful people no, it’s crazy,” he added. “They were like, ‘OK, we’ll do it, you can ask.’ Because it’s not that important to me to do it the way they want to do it.”

The Dynamic Between Power and Comedy

Recently, Rogan joined Trump in the Oval Office as the president signed an executive order directing the FDA to expedite reviews of specific psychedelics. However, Rogan has also been critical of the president on various topics in recent months, ranging from foreign policy in Iran to Trump’s specific comments regarding Canada.

On his podcast, O’Brien suggested that the “current president” could actually benefit from being “the butt of the joke.” He argued that Trump may be too ego-driven to humble himself in the way Clinton or Obama did for the sake of comedy. Galifianakis was quick to counter that idea, stating, “That’s impossible.”
