Euphoria Season 3 Premiere: Fans Slam “Fetish Porn” Scenes
The third season of Sam Levinson’s polarizing drama Euphoria finally debuted on HBO last night, and the online reaction has been nothing short of explosive.

As many viewers know, it has been four long years since Euphoria Season 2 concluded. In that interval, the landscape has shifted significantly. The primary cast, including Zendaya (Rue Bennett), Jacob Elordi (Nate Jacobs), and Sydney Sweeney (Cassie Howard), have become major Hollywood powerhouses. Zendaya recently starred in the high-profile A24 project The Drama alongside Robert Pattinson.

There was also persistent chatter regarding a feud between Zendaya and Sam Levinson back in 2024. Sources suggested the friction stemmed from Sam’s controversial series The Idol, a collaboration with The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye).

The Idol faced intense backlash for “misogynistic” themes and a Rolling Stone report alleging a toxic set environment. At the time, HBO informed media outlets that the early production stages “did not meet” the network’s high standards.
Zendaya and Sam seemingly resolved their “creative differences” to begin filming Euphoria Season 3 last year. However, fans were quick to notice that while Zendaya was an executive producer for the first two seasons, she is notably absent from the EP credits in Season 3. Tragically, the cast also lost two prominent members: Angus Cloud (Fezco), who passed away from an accidental overdose, and Eric Dane (Cal Jacobs), who suffered from ALS.

Given these setbacks and the fact that stars like Zendaya and Jacob Elordi seemed less than enthusiastic in recent interviews, many expected Euphoria Season 3 to be canceled. Nevertheless, the premiere event took place last week—an awkward affair where Zendaya seemingly dodged photos with Sam and avoided embracing Sydney Sweeney—and the first episode is now streaming.

HBO Max
Euphoria Season 3 jumps forward five years, moving past the high school setting. However, the characters’ lives are more chaotic than ever. Rue is now working as a drug mule for Laurie, the Season 2 villain played by Martha Kelly. To clear her massive debt, Rue—aided by Faye (Chloe Cherry)—literally swallows balloons filled with fentanyl in Mexico to smuggle them back into the US. It is as graphic as it sounds.

Nate and Cassie are still a couple, but their dynamic has shifted. While Nate tries to secure funding for his family business, Cassie has turned to OnlyFans to pay for a “non-ghetto” luxury wedding. In a sequence that horrified Nate and viewers alike, Cassie is shown in a full puppy costume, barking at the lens.

Furthermore, a leaked image from a future Euphoria teaser shows Cassie in a provocative outfit dressed as an infant, fueling concerns about how extreme the “fetishistic” content will get this season.

Elsewhere, Jules (Hunter Schafer) is navigating life as a sugar baby, while Fez is revealed to be alive but serving a 30-year prison sentence. This is only the surface of the Euphoria Season 3 premiere, but the consensus is clear: it’s explicit and, for many, too far. One user on X noted, “Euphoria was always edgy, but it was never gross. This was GROSS,” while another added that the drug balloon scenes felt like a specific “fetish thing.”
and I said the whole drug balloon scenes with rue and faye felt like a fetish thing……

The backlash regarding the treatment of female characters is substantial. “It’s wild how much Sam Levinson puts these women through. It’s like the writers asked how to degrade every woman this season and he just said ‘YES!’ What an insane premiere,” one viewer shared.

HBO Max
“Congrats to Sam Levinson for being so misogynistic that the only roles he sees for women are in sex work,” another critic stated, referencing the similarities to The Idol.
One viral tweet compared Cassie’s scenes to a public humiliation ritual, while another user bluntly stated, “I’m genuinely about to throw up, this is straight up fetish porn.”

The acting has also sparked debate. Many feel Jacob Elordi’s Nate Jacobs feels like a different person entirely. “Zendaya nailed Rue again, but the writing for Jacob Elordi made him feel like a new character; even his voice changed,” one tweet read. Others were shocked by Nate’s new “soft” persona.

In contrast, Zendaya and Colman Domingo (Ali) received universal acclaim. “Zendaya and Colman Domingo prove that elite actors can make even a terrible script look good,” one fan posted.

HBO Max
Ultimately, many viewers are just baffled by the tonal shift. “Euphoria went from a teen drama to a cartel western?” one person asked, while another joked, “Is this Euphoria or Breaking Bad?”
The internet is divided. Let us know your thoughts on the premiere in the comments below.

To get you up to speed: After news broke that Barry and Sabrina reportedly split in late 2024 after a year of dating, the internet was flooded with rumors that he had been unfaithful to the “Espresso” singer with influencer Breckie Hill. For her part, Breckie quickly shut down the cheating speculation on her own platforms.

Despite the denial, the wave of online negativity aimed at the Saltburn star was so intense that he eventually felt forced to delete his Instagram account and release a statement regarding the “hate” he was enduring during that period.

While appearing on a recent episode of the Friends Keep Secrets podcast, Barry addressed those persistent cheating rumors directly. He shared a candid look at how the public narrative has fundamentally altered his life—and his perspective was truly heartbreaking.

“I came off Instagram and social profiles,” he confessed during the interview. “I’ve stopped going to events. I’ve stopped, you know, just, socializing. It’s because, you know, there was a narrative out there that was never really sort of even spoken on, a narrative that’s not true, and I never confirmed or said anything about it. And, you know, I just disappeared.”

Reflecting on the unique struggles of “having a relationship in the public eye,” Barry pointed toward the video where Breckie denied the rumors. “No one seemed to latch on to that video,” he noted, expressing frustration over how the public perception has shifted since the breakup.

“I’m not asking for people to become my fan and like me because that’s not normal either,” he continued. “But I’m asking for people to stop assuming and also stop jumping on this narrative and attacking me and dragging me down in any way you can, involving my parents who are no longer with me… just absolutely disgusting and vile. There’s videos on TikTok literally going, ‘I hate him.'”

Shannon Elizabeth OnlyFans Earnings: American Pie Star Wealth
If you’re a millennial of a certain age, you know Shannon Elizabeth from a few things. Between the American Pie franchise, Tomcats, Scary Movie, and even a Jay and Silent Bob movie or two, she was arguably one of the queens of the “movies you watched at a sleepover party” subcategory.

Shannon’s acting career has remained fairly steady since then, but she recently took on a new role entirely: OnlyFans creator. She joined the service just a few weeks ago, telling People at the time that starting her own OnlyFans was because “I’ve spent my entire career working in Hollywood, where other people controlled the narrative and the outcome of my career. This new chapter is about changing that, showing off a more sexy side no one has seen, and being closer to my fans.”

Well, just a few weeks later, People has a new report on how the OnlyFans foray is going for Shannon — and as it turns out, she’s seemingly struck content-creator gold in the process.

A source tells the publication that Shannon brought in “more than seven figures” on the first week she joined OnlyFans. Seven figures! Let that sink in.

The source adds that Shannon “is really making a name for herself” on her page, and they also note that there is no full nudity featured on it. “She is super happy she now gets to take control and be engaged with her fans,” the source adds.
