1. MC Hammer

To start, MC Hammer had a booming music career in the ’90s, becoming world-famous for his signature parachute pants, multiple Grammy wins, and the iconic hit single “U Can’t Touch This.” By 1996, his excessive spending habits led to more than $10 million in debt and a high-profile bankruptcy filing.

Today, he has reinvented himself as a tech investor in Silicon Valley, working with major companies like Square and X (formerly Twitter). “Some people ask me sometimes, would I go back and change things? They are flabbergasted by my answer. My real, true answer is I wouldn’t change one thing,” he said. “I really believe in the butterfly effect. Meaning that if I change one thing, everything else changes. I lose the kids I have now. I lose the relationships I have now. I lose the peace I have now. So I’m very happy with my decision.”

2. Nicolas Cage

Nicolas Cage is well-known for his eccentric and lavish lifestyle, famously purchasing everything from sprawling mansions and European castles to a pyramid burial tomb in New Orleans and even a rare dinosaur skull.

4. Cyndi Lauper

Before Cyndi Lauper became a household name with massive 80s hits like “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” and “Time After Time,” she was a member of the band Blue Angel.

When the band’s debut album flopped, their manager sued for $80,000, forcing Cyndi to file for bankruptcy in 1981. She eventually bounced back to superstardom and is currently slated to perform at her highly anticipated Las Vegas residency starting in April 2026.

5. Stephen Baldwin

Stephen Baldwin made a name for himself in the industry with memorable roles in The Young Riders, The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas, and several other projects.

6. Toni Braxton

9. Burt Reynolds

Burt Reynolds enjoyed a solid, decades-long acting career with iconic leading roles in classics like Boogie Nights, Smokey and the Bandit, and The Longest Yard.

10. Meat Loaf

13. Larry King

14. Joey Lawrence
