Channing Tatum’s Cringe IG Posts After Zoe Kravitz Engagement

Published

By now, the internet is buzzing with the news that Harry Styles and Zoë Kravitz are officially engaged, seemingly taking the next step after less than a year of dating.

The high-profile couple—who first sparked dating rumors in August 2025—sent the rumor mill into overdrive last week. Zoë was spotted in London flashing a stunning diamond ring on her engagement finger, fueling immediate speculation.

While the pair has kept things private, an insider confirmed to People on April 27 that Zoë and Harry recently got engaged. The source noted they have already shared the exciting milestone with a “small circle” of close friends and family.

Social media users have been quick to point out that this isn’t Zoë’s first walk down the aisle. Back in 2019, she married actor Karl Glusman, though the pair separated after 18 months. Their divorce was finalized in 2021, which was the same year she began her well-documented romance with Channing Tatum.

Zoë and Channing quickly became a fan-favorite Hollywood duo. By October 2023, they were engaged after two years of being together. However, the engagement ended in October 2024, with sources telling People they were simply at “different stages” in their lives.

Following their breakup, Channing moved on to date 26-year-old model Inka Williams. Zoë, for her part, has maintained a classy stance on her ex, telling Elle magazine in 2025 that she still cares for him deeply.

Naturally, pop culture fans are curious about his reaction to Zoë’s sudden engagement to the “As It Was” singer. This curiosity lead straight to Channing’s recent, and somewhat puzzling, Instagram stories.

On April 27, the very day the engagement news went public, Channing encouraged his followers to check out a deep poem by John Roedel. The piece focused heavily on the internal struggle between the “heart” and the “brain.”

“Now my head and heart share custody of me / They blame each other for the state of my life / there’s been a lot of yelling—and crying / so, / lately I’ve been spending a lot of time with my gut / who serves as my unofficial therapist,” the verses read. The poem describes the heart being stuck on the past while the head worries about tomorrow.

The emotional poem was shared across 10 slides of an IG carousel, leaving fans to wonder about the intended message behind the repost.

Later that same day, Channing shared a series of other posts, including a viral video of people hitting each other with foam pool noodles. Captioned “New therapy tool unlocked,” Channing added his own commentary: “I might actually just do this in New York randomly. It seems so much fun.”

Long-time followers know Channing often shares relatable or funny content, so this isn’t entirely out of character. However, given the timing of the engagement headlines, fans are speculating that these “cringe” posts are a subtle, hilarious reaction to his ex-fiancée moving on.

“The draw this woman has on these men needs to be STUDIED. She has Channing out here posting on IG like a ’00s teen on AIM,” one Reddit user joked. Another chimed in, wondering how he managed to find a post that felt “so 2014 coded.”

“Men are so fake deep because wtf does this even mean lmfao😩,” questioned another commenter.

Another popular reaction read: “Omg this is so emo, I see you Channing Tatum 🖤 posting this like an AIM away message.”

Fans also noted the similarities between Channing’s behavior and Tom Brady’s cryptic Instagram activity in 2024 after Gisele Bündchen announced her pregnancy. “He and Tom Brady should compare notes on the best Sad Posting ’bout their ex,” one user quipped.

“This is giving Tom Brady,” another user added. A third fan joked: “Crashing out on a IG story. Celebrities, they’re just like us.”

Is Channing actually in his feelings about Zoë and Harry? There’s no confirmation. But seeing major celebrities get a little “emo” on social media is always a viral moment for the fans. We’ve reached out to Channing’s team for comment and will provide updates as they come.

14 Dangerous Movies That Almost Didn’t Make It to the Screen

Published

on

By

Filmmaking can seem like all glitz and glamour, but behind the scenes, movie production often involves extreme physical risks. Several iconic films were plagued by on-set disasters during their creation—including some productions that turned out to be genuinely deadly.

1. The Wizard of Oz

The Wizard of Oz stands as one of the most legendary films in cinema history, yet the reality of its production was incredibly hazardous. Margaret Hamilton, the actress behind the Wicked Witch, sustained severe burns on her face and hands during a pyrotechnic stunt gone wrong. She also noted that the toxic green copper-based makeup irritated her skin for months. Her stunt double, Betty Danko, suffered similar burn injuries while filming.

The role of the Tin Man was originally cast with Buddy Ebsen, who was forced to quit after just nine days. He suffered a life-threatening reaction to the aluminum dust used in his silver makeup and spent two weeks in an oxygen tent at a hospital. His replacement, Jack Haley, didn’t have it much better; he developed a serious eye infection caused by the same metallic paste.

Furthermore, the production used real asbestos to simulate falling snow during the poppy field scene. Beyond the physical dangers, young Judy Garland was subjected to immense psychological pressure. At only 15 years old, she was forced onto a strict “diet” consisting of black coffee, chicken soup, cigarettes, and pills, while also facing alleged harassment from other actors on set.

2. Titanic

Ironically, the production of James Cameron’s Titanic was anything but unsinkable. The crew endured grueling 20-hour shifts, with the majority of the filming taking place in the dead of night. Kate Winslet famously described the shoot as a physical “ordeal.” The actress nearly drowned during one water sequence, suffered from deep bruising, chipped an elbow bone, and battled both the flu and hypothermia.

The chaotic scenes featuring passengers falling from the sinking vessel led to numerous real-world injuries. Meanwhile, the shots of victims freezing in the Atlantic were filmed in massive tanks filled with “filthy” water. According to Winslet, the unsanitary conditions caused many cast members to develop painful kidney infections.

In one of the most bizarre onset incidents, an unknown person spiked the cast and crew’s chowder with PCP during the filming of the modern-day sequences, sending dozens of people to the hospital with hallucinations.

3. Terminator 2: Judgment Day

Terminator 2: Judgment Day is another James Cameron masterpiece where the cast pushed themselves to the limit. Linda Hamilton suffered permanent hearing loss in one ear after failing to wear earplugs during a loud elevator shootout scene involving heavy gunfire.

The production was also rife with stunt-related injuries. Cameron himself admitted that the sequence where the Terminator clings to a moving truck was “the most dangerous stunt” he had ever directed, noting that a single mistake would have been fatal. The helicopter chase under the bridge was so terrifying that the lead camera operator refused to shoot it, forcing Cameron to operate the camera himself while standing on the skid.

4. The Crow

The Crow is tragically defined by its onset accident as much as its gothic brilliance. Lead actor Brandon Lee was killed during a scene when a prop gun, which still contained a fragment of a dummy bullet, fired a lethal shot.

Miramax

The production was plagued by misfortune from day one. On the first day of shooting, a crew member was severely electrocuted, and a second electrocution occurred later in the shoot. One stunt performer suffered multiple broken ribs, a prop truck caught fire without explanation, and a massive hurricane eventually leveled several of the film’s outdoor sets.

5. Full Metal Jacket

The harrowing Vietnam war scenes in Full Metal Jacket were actually filmed at London’s Beckton Gas Works. Lead actor Matthew Modine described the location as one of the most “toxic” environments imaginable.

Modine revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that the soil contained over 30 known carcinogens. The site was filled with asbestos, and the actors would return home covered in chemicals. He recalled that after a day of filming, his bathwater would turn a disturbing cobalt blue from the industrial toxins lingering on his skin.

6. Roar

Widely regarded as the most dangerous movie ever produced, Roar is a case study in cinematic insanity. The film depicts a family living among wild lions and was directed by Noel Marshall. The cast included his wife, Tippi Hedren, and their children, including a young Melanie Griffith. They lived alongside 150 untamed big cats, resulting in at least 70 documented injuries among the cast and crew.

Drafthouse Films

The wild animals frequently attacked the humans on set. Noel Marshall developed gangrene from his wounds, and Tippi Hedren suffered a fractured leg and scalp injuries. Melanie Griffith required extensive facial reconstructive surgery after a lion attack, and cinematographer Jan de Bont was literally scalped, requiring 220 stitches to reattach his scalp.

7. Twister

Director Jan de Bont brought his appetite for risk to the set of Twister. The film was shot on location during peak tornado season, with the crew frequently chasing actual storms to capture realistic footage. During production, cinematographer Jack N. Green was hospitalized when a collapsing house set was triggered while he was still inside it.

The lead actors also faced physical trauma. Helen Hunt suffered a concussion after being hit by a car door, while her stunt double sustained a cracked rib. Both Hunt and Bill Paxton were also temporarily blinded by the intense ultraviolet light emitted by powerful electronic lamps used to simulate daylight.

8. Rocky IV

For the climax of Rocky IV, Sylvester Stallone wanted the boxing match against Dolph Lundgren to feel authentic. He instructed Lundgren to actually hit him as hard as possible during the first minute of the fight. Lundgren complied, and the force of the punches resulted in Stallone being rushed to the intensive care unit.

Stallone spent nine days in the hospital. Doctors noted that the trauma to his heart was similar to injuries seen in victims of high-speed head-on car collisions. Stallone later joked that he had essentially been hit by a “human bus.”

9. Deliverance

Director John Boorman insisted that the cast of Deliverance perform their own stunts to maintain realism. This decision nearly cost Jon Voight his life when he fell 10 feet off a cliff, narrowly missing a jagged rock that would have been fatal.

Burt Reynolds also faced a near-death experience while filming the waterfall sequence. He cracked his tailbone during the stunt and was sucked into a massive whirlpool that was powerful enough to strip the clothes off his body. He suffered from chronic back pain for decades following the incident.

10. Super Mario Bros.

The 1993 Super Mario Bros. movie was a disaster in more ways than one. Star Bob Hoskins famously called the film “a nightmare” and “the worst thing I ever did.” Villain actor Dennis Hopper shared similar sentiments about the chaotic production.

Hoskins survived two near-death experiences on set: one involving a severe electrocution and another where he nearly drowned. Additionally, the actor sustained a broken finger and was accidentally stabbed four times during the filming of various action sequences.

11. The Exorcist

The set of The Exorcist was so fraught with accidents that many believed the production was cursed. Crew members suffered various grisly injuries, including the loss of a toe and a thumb. Young Linda Blair sustained a back fracture during a possession scene, which led to a lifelong struggle with scoliosis.

Ellen Burstyn also suffered a permanent spinal injury when a crew member yanked a safety cable too hard during a stunt. She was forced to use crutches for weeks and has spoken openly about the lasting physical pain she endured from the “bad experience.”

12. A Clockwork Orange

Malcolm McDowell went through hell while filming Stanley Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange. The actor sustained scratched corneas and temporary blindness during the famous “Ludovico Technique” scene because his eyes were forced open for too long.

McDowell also suffered cracked ribs during the shoot. His co-star, Adrienne Corri, reported being physically harmed during an assault scene because McDowell was instructed by Kubrick to deliver “real hits” to ensure the scene looked authentic.

13. Waterworld

Waterworld is one of the most infamously troubled productions in Hollywood history. A multimillion-dollar set sank during a hurricane and had to be completely rebuilt. Kevin Costner nearly died when he was caught in a sudden squall while lashed to a boat mast, and his stunt double, Laird Hamilton, was swept out to sea.

The ocean environment was hostile; both Hamilton and child star Tina Majorino were repeatedly stung by jellyfish. Furthermore, a stuntman suffered a life-threatening embolism after a rapid ascent from a deep dive, and a crew member required 20 stitches after being hit by a snapping underwater cable.

14. Apocalypse Now

“Little by little, we went insane,” Francis Ford Coppola remarked regarding the production of Apocalypse Now. The director suffered a nervous breakdown and seizures due to the stress. Leading man Martin Sheen famously suffered a near-fatal heart attack in the middle of the jungle, followed by his own nervous breakdown.

Sunset Boulevard / Getty Images

Nature was equally unforgiving; a typhoon destroyed several expensive sets, and the cast dealt with hookworm infestations. Tragically, the production also saw the death of a construction worker who was killed by a falling log during the building of the sets.

14 Celebs Whose Partners Couldn’t Handle Their Career Success

Published

on

cold smooth tasty 80

A supportive partner is the ultimate goal, but what happens when one person’s career hits the stratosphere while the other is still fighting for bit parts? From collecting Oscars like Infinity Stones to raking in millions, the power dynamic in a relationship can shift fast.

Here are 14 celebrities who reportedly struggled with jealousy and the pressure of their partner’s massive success:

1. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon first crossed paths at the 2005 Teen Choice Awards. Three years later, Nick appeared as her love interest in the “Bye Bye” music video, sparking rumors that were initially denied by Mariah’s team. However, behind the scenes, the romance was moving at lightning speed. Nick proposed twice—once with a stunning 17-carat pink diamond hidden in a Ring Pop—and they were married within two months. Unfortunately, the pair finalized their divorce in 2016.

Speaking on the Ray Daniels Presents podcast, Nick opened up about the identity crisis he faced: “I got married in my 20s to the biggest star in the world. I would lay up at night thinking, ‘Is this who I am? Am I Mariah’s man?'” While he enjoyed the luxury of private islands and steak service, the domestic shift felt different once they had children. “The hierarchy of man shit is like, ‘Wait, I’m carrying the purse, the diaper bag, and I’m standing on the corner waiting.’ She’s an alpha, and I’m just not that dude.”

He explained that while the love was sincere and his goal was to build a family, his ego struggled. “The inner adolescent in me, I’m trying to prove that I’m a man because I’m standing next to a woman,” he admitted, noting that he wore suits every day just to feel a sense of professional standing.

2. Anna Faris and Ben Indra

Anna Faris met Ben Indra while working on the 2000 film Lovers Lane. Though she initially turned down his proposal, they eventually wed in 2004. By 2007, they separated, finalizing the split in 2008. Anna later confessed to Marie Claire that the “divide became too great” as her career took off while his stalled, stating, “That kind of destroyed my marriage.”

In her memoir Unqualified, Faris reflected on the early commitment despite “glaring problems.” She wrote, “I still wonder why I did that, and I don’t fully have the answers, and I don’t know if I ever will.”

3. Anna Faris and Chris Pratt

Following her first divorce, Faris found love with her Take Me Home Tonight costar, Chris Pratt. They married in 2009 and welcomed a son in 2012, just before Pratt’s career exploded with Guardians of the Galaxy. The Hollywood power couple eventually divorced in 2018.

Anna, who married Michael Barrett in 2021, later discussed the competitive nature of dating other actors on her podcast. “I don’t think we did a great job of eliminating competitiveness,” she admitted. “Any hint of competitiveness and comparison, I didn’t handle that very well.”

4. Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert

Teyana Taylor and NBA star Iman Shumpert met in 2011, eventually becoming a couple after she helped him recover from surgery in 2013. They married in 2016 and had two daughters before a 2023 divorce filing.

Leaked court documents suggested Teyana accused Iman of being envious of her fame and feeling insecure. She reportedly claimed she had to “intentionally dim her light” to keep the peace. Teyana took to Instagram to clarify that she hadn’t spoken to blogs, saying, “It is very heartbreaking that someone would take out the time to make such a private matter public.”

Both parties’ lawyers have expressed a desire to resolve the matter privately for the sake of their children, with Teyana’s team emphasizing her efforts to keep the split amicable.

5. Burt Reynolds and Sally Field

The Smokey and the Bandit costars were a major item for five years in the late ’70s. While Reynolds called her the love of his life, he allegedly struggled with her professional accolades.

When Field starred in Norma Rae, Reynolds was reportedly unhappy with the buzz surrounding her performance. In the book 50 Oscar Nights, Field recalled him discouraging her from attending the Cannes Film Festival. “When the Oscars came around, he really was not a nice guy around me then and was not going to go with me.”

Because Reynolds refused to attend the Oscars as her date, David Steinberg and his wife Judy Marcione stepped in. Field won her first Academy Award that night, while Reynolds wouldn’t see a nomination of his own until 1998.

6. Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow

The Seven costars were the “it” couple of the mid-90s, but their engagement ended after six months. In Gwyneth: The Biography, author Amy Odell alleged that Paltrow often cried because Pitt felt “threatened by her success.”

7. Kate Winslet and Jim Threapleton

Kate Winslet married assistant director Jim Threapleton in 1998, but the marriage ended in 2001. In 2004, Winslet told Index that Threapleton tried to stifle her career. “He would read a script and immediately kill my passion for it by saying it wasn’t good enough,” she said, noting that she began seeking smaller roles just to please him.

Threapleton later told the Guardian that the media’s portrayal of him was inaccurate and that he never sought fame. He described the difficulty of entering the film industry on his own merits, rather than through his relationship with a superstar.

8. Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey

The stars of Newlyweds were once pop culture’s golden couple. However, Jessica Simpson’s solo success eventually created friction. In her memoir Open Book, she noted that as she landed major endorsement deals, there was “a little bit of tension and a lot less support” from Nick.

She admitted that towards the end, they were simply “tolerating each other” for the cameras. Lachey was eight years her senior, and Simpson felt the pressure of the “trophy couple” image they had to maintain for the public.

9. Louise and Jamie Redknapp

Former singer Louise Redknapp stepped away from the spotlight to raise her family with soccer star Jamie Redknapp. However, after appearing on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016, she realized she missed her career.

Rune Hellestad – Corbis / Corbis via Getty Images

She told the Telegraph that watching Jamie’s TV career flourish while she stayed home was difficult. “Standing by and watching Jamie become this entertainment star was pretty hard… there was part of me thinking, ‘That’s my world.'” The couple divorced in 2017.

Louise described her return to performing as the first “selfish” thing she had done for herself in years, and she soon returned to making music.

10. Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke

The Gattaca costars were married for seven years before their 2005 split. Hawke later linked the divorce to the difficulty of two ambitious actors sharing a life. “I don’t know if it’s just too hard to be married to a woman that wants to be a movie star,” he told 20/20.

D. Kambouris / WireImage / Via Getty

Uma Thurman described the divorce as “excruciating” and “mangling” to her self-esteem. Years later, Hawke reflected on the humiliation of having their private lives analyzed by the media.

11. Jessica and David Oyelowo

After moving to LA, David Oyelowo saw massive career growth, while his wife Jessica handled childcare. She admitted to Premier Gospel that she struggled with jealousy: “I was married to a man whose star was rising while I was at home wiping up poopy butts.”

Despite the “identity crises,” the couple remained together, with Jessica adopting a “death to self” mantra to navigate the changing dynamics of their professional lives.

12. Jamie Dornan and Keira Knightley

Before Fifty Shades of Grey, Jamie Dornan dated Keira Knightley. He reportedly admitted to feeling “second-rate” next to her massive fame. “The man is meant to be the Alpha… and clearly, I was not,” he allegedly said, though he later claimed the comments were taken out of context.

13. Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham

The Fleetwood Mac legends had a famously volatile relationship. In 2024, Nicks acknowledged that being a “larger icon” than Buckingham was a major source of conflict.

Gie Knaeps / Getty Images

The tension eventually led to Buckingham being fired from the band in 2018. Nicks recalled how her parents’ pragmatic advice finally helped her decide to move on from their professional and personal partnership for good.

14. Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds

The A-list pair was married for two years before splitting in 2011. Johansson later told Cosmopolitan that being with another actor is challenging, especially when careers are moving at the same rate. “There may be a competitive thing,” she noted.

Kevin Mazur / WireImage / Via Getty

Despite the challenges, she looked back on the marriage as a natural step that grew out of love, even if they weren’t prepared for the “peaks and valleys” of balancing two busy schedules.

Ben Stiller’s Knicks Tweet Sparks Major MAGA Social Backlash

Published

on

A Chaotic Saturday Night

A whole lot was happening this past Saturday night, creating a perfect storm for social media confusion. The most alarming news involved a shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, which forced guests to scramble for cover while President Trump and his cabinet members were quickly evacuated by the Secret Service for their safety.

NBA Playoffs Take Center Stage

It also happened to be a massive night for professional basketball enthusiasts. NBA fans were glued to their screens as the New York Knicks faced off against the Atlanta Hawks in a high-stakes playoffs matchup.

For those unfamiliar with the sport’s culture, Knicks fans are a notoriously long-suffering yet fiercely loyal group. Seeing the Knicks dominate the Hawks with a final score of 114–98 was a massive deal for the New York faithful.

Ben Stiller Joins the Celebration

Like the rest of the energized Knicks fandom, Hollywood actor Ben Stiller took to Twitter to celebrate his favorite team’s hard-earned victory.

Sean Zanni / Getty Images

Once the Knicks officially secured the “W,” the actor posted a brief, three-word tweet:

@BenStiller / Via x.com

Stiller had actually been live-tweeting the entire game in real-time. For anyone following his feed, it was glaringly obvious that his celebratory post was strictly about basketball and the Knicks’ performance:

The Knicks community is typically a tight-knit circle during these games, collectively cheering for every point scored and lamenting every missed opportunity or fumble:

The Collision of Two Realities

However, because the terrifying shooting in DC was unfolding at the exact same moment as the basketball game, members of the MAGA movement interpreted Ben’s tweet as a callous dig at a dangerous national security event.

The actor was immediately flooded with accusations of failing to “read the room.” The reality, however, was that he was in a completely different room—one where the NY Knicks were the only thing on the screen.

Nancy Mace, the US Representative for South Carolina, was among those who took aim at Stiller’s Knicks celebration:

Another vocal Trump supporter weighed in with a critical response:

The Silent Aftermath

Stiller chose not to engage with the backlash directly. Instead, the morning following the controversial game, he simply shared a lone emoji:

@BenStiller / Via x.com

Inevitably, his mentions were quickly filled with followers warning him that even a simple emoji would likely be stripped of its context and used against him by his detractors:

@mcelwainYo / Via x.com

ObGT3Knwg

@ABall1989 / Via x.com

This isn’t the first time the actor has bumped heads with the political right. Earlier this year, Stiller made headlines when he requested the White House remove a clip from his iconic film, Tropic Thunder, which had been used in a “flawless victory” montage regarding the conflict with Iran. At the time, he made his stance clear:

o1VKuG77

@BenStiller / Via x.com

A Case of Crossed Wires

With the White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting and the Knicks’ playoff victory happening simultaneously, the digital wires got tangled. MAGA supporters were convinced Stiller was celebrating a tragedy, but the evidence shows his tweet was entirely harmless basketball hype.

What is your take on this unfortunate social media overlap? Share your thoughts in the comments, and of course—let’s go, Knicks!
