Brian Cox recently shared fascinating insights about his legendary tenure as Logan Roy in Succession. Beyond praising his former costar Kieran Culkin—and acknowledging the widely known “troubled” history of the Culkin family—Brian directly tackled rumors that he disliked working with Jeremy Strong. He even disclosed the single detail he would alter about the iconic HBO series.

For context, the celebrated Scottish actor is now 79 years old. Although he had been acting professionally for over half a century before landing the role of billionaire mogul Logan Roy, his global stardom reached unprecedented heights through the series.

Brian wasn’t the only one to find massive success through the show. The actors portraying his on-screen children—Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin, and Sarah Snook—have seen their careers explode, with Kieran notably securing his first Oscar win last year.

Brian expressed immense pride for his former castmate during a recent guest appearance on the Off Menu podcast. Speaking with hosts Ed Gamble and James Acaster, he reflected on Kieran’s evolution and professional growth.

When asked if the Succession cast felt intimidated by his presence during on-set improvisation, Brian clarified: “I didn’t improvise all that much; I didn’t feel the need to. The real genius at improvising—who was actually terrified of it when we started—was Kieran Culkin. Kieran became a master at it, but he was panicked when he was first asked to go off-script.”

“I remember him asking, ‘Well, what do I do?’ I told him, ‘You make it up.’ He said, ‘Really?!’ and I said, ‘Yeah, it’s fine, just go with whatever you feel is happening to your character at the time,’” Brian shared. “After that, we couldn’t stop him. He was like a tap we turned on and couldn’t turn off! He was absolutely brilliant.”

“He has found so much success now,” the star continued. “And he truly deserves it because… that boy… he comes from a very troubled family. They have endured a lot of hardship, including the loss of his sister in a car accident. They were a very tight-knit family, and before Succession, he went through a really difficult period. Now he’s flying high, and he earned it because he’s a wonderful person.”

Kieran is the younger brother of former child star Macaulay Culkin, who has been candid about their challenging upbringing. They were two of seven children raised in a small four-room New York City apartment while their parents struggled financially.

Macaulay has also accused their father, Kit Culkin, of being abusive, claiming in a 2001 interview with New York magazine that his father was physically abusive toward him, his mother, and his siblings. Last year, Macaulay confirmed he hasn’t seen his father in three decades and that none of the siblings maintain a relationship with him.

Kieran previously opened up about the tragic passing of his older sister, Dakota Culkin, during a 2024 interview with CBS Sunday Morning. Dakota died in December 2008 after being struck by a vehicle in Marina del Rey, California. She was only 29.

Kieran, who was 26 at the time, admitted the grief never truly fades. He noted: “I only knew who I was because of who my siblings are. To lose one was to lose a part of myself. You don’t get over losing a favorite person, but you get used to it.”

Kieran also mentioned that he unknowingly channeled Dakota’s personality while playing Roman Roy. He explained: “I realized Roman had traits that were exactly like my sister. Her sense of humor—finding the exact thing to poke fun at to get a reaction while making the whole room laugh—that was her.”

He told the Hollywood Reporter that Dakota’s death remains the “worst thing” he’s experienced, noting that it’s a devastating reality he will live with forever. In that 2021 profile, he added, “I still weep about it out of nowhere.”

Shifting back to the Off Menu podcast, Brian shut down the idea that he disliked working with Jeremy Strong (Kendall Roy). While Brian famously called Jeremy’s method acting “annoying” in 2023, he clarified his professional respect for his co-star.

When asked if he stays in touch with the cast, Brian said: “Unfortunately, work keeps us apart as you move to the next project. But that was a divine team to work with for those four seasons over six years. They were all great… even Jeremy Strong.”

“He’s a fantastic actor,” Brian added. “To perform alongside him is great. He has his process, but in the scene, it was always an adventure. There was never a moment where I didn’t enjoy acting with Jeremy.”

Brian credited showrunner Jesse Armstrong for the series’ massive impact, though he confessed there was one creative choice he would have changed regarding the final season.

“Jesse Armstrong is a unifying force. We all wanted to do our best for him because he’s a brilliant producer. It was always an adventure,” Brian said. “My only critique is that I felt he put too much pressure on the younger cast toward the end. I personally felt they should have killed Logan Roy off one episode later. It was a heavy burden for them to carry that narrative on repeat, and I think Jesse might agree with me now.”

“I felt it became slightly repetitive,” Brian explained. “But it was still brilliant television. It remains one of the best projects I’ve ever been a part of. Jesse is extraordinary, and ending the show after four seasons was a brave move. Everyone thought we could do more, but the show is called Succession—eventually, you have to actually see the succession happen.”

To get you up to speed: After news broke that Barry and Sabrina reportedly split in late 2024 after a year of dating, the internet was flooded with rumors that he had been unfaithful to the “Espresso” singer with influencer Breckie Hill. For her part, Breckie quickly shut down the cheating speculation on her own platforms.

Despite the denial, the wave of online negativity aimed at the Saltburn star was so intense that he eventually felt forced to delete his Instagram account and release a statement regarding the “hate” he was enduring during that period.

While appearing on a recent episode of the Friends Keep Secrets podcast, Barry addressed those persistent cheating rumors directly. He shared a candid look at how the public narrative has fundamentally altered his life—and his perspective was truly heartbreaking.

“I came off Instagram and social profiles,” he confessed during the interview. “I’ve stopped going to events. I’ve stopped, you know, just, socializing. It’s because, you know, there was a narrative out there that was never really sort of even spoken on, a narrative that’s not true, and I never confirmed or said anything about it. And, you know, I just disappeared.”

Reflecting on the unique struggles of “having a relationship in the public eye,” Barry pointed toward the video where Breckie denied the rumors. “No one seemed to latch on to that video,” he noted, expressing frustration over how the public perception has shifted since the breakup.

“I’m not asking for people to become my fan and like me because that’s not normal either,” he continued. “But I’m asking for people to stop assuming and also stop jumping on this narrative and attacking me and dragging me down in any way you can, involving my parents who are no longer with me… just absolutely disgusting and vile. There’s videos on TikTok literally going, ‘I hate him.'”

Shannon Elizabeth OnlyFans Earnings: American Pie Star Wealth

Published

on

WGJhZg Jo scaled

If you’re a millennial of a certain age, you know Shannon Elizabeth from a few things. Between the American Pie franchise, Tomcats, Scary Movie, and even a Jay and Silent Bob movie or two, she was arguably one of the queens of the “movies you watched at a sleepover party” subcategory.

Shannon’s acting career has remained fairly steady since then, but she recently took on a new role entirely: OnlyFans creator. She joined the service just a few weeks ago, telling People at the time that starting her own OnlyFans was because “I’ve spent my entire career working in Hollywood, where other people controlled the narrative and the outcome of my career. This new chapter is about changing that, showing off a more sexy side no one has seen, and being closer to my fans.”

Well, just a few weeks later, People has a new report on how the OnlyFans foray is going for Shannon — and as it turns out, she’s seemingly struck content-creator gold in the process.

A source tells the publication that Shannon brought in “more than seven figures” on the first week she joined OnlyFans. Seven figures! Let that sink in.

The source adds that Shannon “is really making a name for herself” on her page, and they also note that there is no full nudity featured on it. “She is super happy she now gets to take control and be engaged with her fans,” the source adds.
